WYD is very proud to announce OUR Aion PRIVATE BETA SERVER
We are looking for dedicated players to help develop this server
If you are interested please contact Piggie for installation instructions and server info
Here is a quick Tutorial for downloading and installing AION and connect to WYD AION Server:
1st Download AION Client from here http://www.gamershell.com/download_52340.shtml (9.9GB Download) This will download AION 1.5.0.9
Once the download is finished, Un-Zip and Run Setup.exe to install the game (~12GB Free Space Needed)
Then Run the NCSoft Launcher program to update to the latest version (1.5.1.10) **Make sure that this is the correct version otherwise you might not be able to connect to the server.
Then download this file http://hotfile.com/dl/27841731/78a5399/d3dx9_38.dll.html and copy it to where you installed AION into the bin32 folder (ie: C:Program FilesNCSOFTAIONBin32)
Then go to: http://208.91.214.62:8096 and click on Launcher Download (this will download a .BAT file that you will use to start the game to connect to the WYD server.
Copy this file in your AION directory (ie: C:Program FilesNCSOFTAION)
Use that webpage to create your AION Account on WYD Server.
*** Don't Use special characters, ONLY LETTERS AND NUMBERS, I found that even _ and - doesn't let you login in-game, and for now you can only create 1 account per IP.
Run Launcher.bat, create your character and enjoy!

Sad News For MW2 No Dedicated Servers

Fourzerotwo was on our BASH webcast this morning and he had a few surprises for the PC community.

Here are the snippets:

We're doing a lot on the backend to make the game accessible for everyone.

There is no delay for the PC version of MW2

There's prestige mode

Jason West at the MP event, said that he was dead on, on the matchmaking servers. We've been building a system on the backend called IW.NET.

You are completely reliant on IW.NET. There are no server lists. There are no dedicated servers.

You have private matches where you can customize the game

You cannot put MW2 on a dedicated server.

This is the first time we've ever done something like this and the team has huge plans for what IW.NET develops into.

Customizing your game...you have quite a few options in a private match

You're getting same game (as in Console), plus matchmaking and private match.
